A native Chicagoan who grew up in the North Center neighborhood, Dancy has been involved in all things property most of her adult life. Her father's imprinting business prepared her for the workforce, giving Dancy a deeper understanding of what it takes behind the scenes to run a successful business. Her early adult life included hands on renovation projects and house flipping, followed by both office and field work for a developer in Highland Park, IL, and certification as a construction manager. This is where she made the decision to become a real estate agent in 2003, and moved herself and her goals to Evanston and to Baird and Warner!
Dancy is a people person and is well known for her accessibility, high level of focus on the needs of her clients, and her calm and reassuring manner. She is creative and thinks outside the box when the situation calls for it, working in all levels of residential housing including rentals, attached and detached housing, and multi unit investment properties. From first time home buyers to downsizing seniors, Dancy has a unique ability to connect with families and individuals, creating an experience tailored to their distinctive situation and goals. You are NOT a cookie cutter client to Dancy, and Dancy is NOT a cookie cutter agent!
While she enjoys working in the North Shore area, Dancy also maintains a business presence on the north side of Chicago, as well as in Lake County where her other love, the love of horses, has earned her intimate knowledge of that area as well. She is an accomplished rider, having owned, trained, and loved a wild mustang over its unusually long lifespan. Her 35 years - and counting! - traveling in and around Lake County has also cultivated a knowledge of horse properties, riding trails, and stables in Lake County's horse country!
Dancy is honored to support the Baird & Warner Good Will Network and feels strongly about giving back to the community.
